To Shelter Creek: From South the North
To San Mateo and Silicon Valley
Getting to Shelter Creek:
From the South (San Jose, San Mateo etc.)
Taking 101
A) Take 101 North past the airport.
B) Take the San Bruno Ave turnoff going West.
C) Go West on San Bruno Ave. You will cross El Camino Real, and travel up the hill, going under Interstate 280.
Taking 280
A) Go North on 280 and
B) Take the San Bruno Ave turn off.
B) Turn LEFT at the light and go under Interstate 280.
From the North (San Francisco)
Taking 101
A) Take 101 South and before you get to the airport or the Interstate 380 intersection.
B) Take the San Bruno Ave turnoff going West.
C) Go West on San Bruno Ave. You will cross El Camino Real, and travel up the hill, going under Interstate 280.
Taking 280
A) Go South on 280 and just before the interstate 380 intersection
B) Take the San Bruno Ave turn off. Continue straight on the frontage road. You will pass a golf practice range on the right and eventually crest a ridge and descend to a stop light.
B) Turn RIGHT at the light and get into the far left lane.
Then:
D) Approximately 1/2 block after going under 280, turn left on Shelter Creek Lane. There will be a Chevrons Station at the intersection of San Bruno Ave and Shelter Creek Lane. Shelter Creek Lane runs parallel to 280.
E) To meet a friend for the first time, it is suggested that you go into the Chevrons Station and phone your friend and meet your friend at one of the entry ways to Shelter Creek. He/she may be able to get you a parking pass.
F) Otherwise find a place to park on Shelter Creek lane. The complex is to the West
Go North on SHELTER
CREEK LN
Turn Right on SAN BRUNO AVE, go though the first light 0.1 miles and get into the LEFT lane. Go under the 280 Freeway overpass and turn LEFT at the second light.
Follow the on ramp to Interstate 280 NORTH
Go North on SHELTER
CREEK LANE
Turn Right on SAN BRUNO AVE, and make an immediate RIGHT onto the Interstate 280 freeway.
Go North on SHELTER CREEK LANE
Turn Right on SAN BRUNO AVE, go though the first light 0.1 miles and get into the LEFT lane. Go under the 280 Freeway and turn LEFT at the second light.. Go 0.3 miles to Sneath Lane. Turn RIGHT on Sneath and go 1.0 Miles. The BART Parking structure will be on your RIGHT. Follow the signs into the Structure to park, or around the structure to let off passengers. Parking is free and plentiful.
Go North on SHELTER CREEK LANE
Turn Right on SAN BRUNO AVE and go 1.1 Miles down the hill across El Camino Real and, just before the Rail Road Track, turn RIGHT on HUNTINGTON AVE. Go 0.5 miles.
The Train Station and parking lot will be on your LEFT.
Go North on SHELTER CREEK LANE
Turn Right on SAN BRUNO AVE and go 1.5 Miles
down the hill, across El Camino and out to Highway 101. Turn RIGHT on
101 and follow the signs to SFO 1.6 miles.
